Recently posted studies are showing that teenagers that drink and/or smoke marijuana score substationally lower on tests than a student that doesn’t do either.
This is more proof that teenagers getting their hands on alcohol and/or drugs is even dangerous to their grades and mental capacity.
The researchers found that teens reporting the highest substance use had lower test scores across the board. In particular, teens who abused alcohol scored substantially lower on the test measuring executive function, while teens who abused pot scored lower on measures of memory performance.
Many teenagers that start using drugs at a young age will grow up and have a drug addiction to something, such as alcohol and/or illegal drugs.
Drug addiction treatment gives educational lectures and send informational brochures to anyone that needs information on growing problems of drug abuse.
