Successful Graduate
I’m so excited because this is the first time since I was 14 that I’ve felt this good without drugs. In the past every time I tried to get clean I never really got to the point that I felt normal. Now I feel like I’ve never even touched drugs. Not only do I feel great but colors pop and my perceptions are clearer. Physical Detoxification
Many addictive substances can remain in the fatty tissue. Research has established that both pharmaceutical and so-called recreational drugs can remain in the body for an extended time and trigger cravings and depression.
The Narconon Sauna Detoxification addiction treatment program is medically supervised and consists of an exact regimen of exercise, dry heat sauna and nutrients.
Social Rehabilitation
Through this regimen drug residues are removed from the fatty tissue and cravings can be greatly reduced. Additionally clients report improved memory, greater energy and more enthusiasm towards life.
Once the subject has worked through the physical aspect of addiction and is thinking clearly, the Narconon drug rehab program moves through a series of specialized courses designed to help an addict gain self control by tapping into and strengthening inherent abilities.
Communication
The ability to communicate and control one’s life are emphasized and the addict begins to face life, sometimes for the first time in years.
Developing a realistic and workable sense of personal ethics and responsibility is a vital part of recovery. Chronic drug abuse is associated with a detrimental system of values and attitudes, criminal behavior and lack of long-term goals.
Once these issues are identified they are addressed through Narconon social rehabilitation steps. The development of interpersonal communication skills, personal values, integrity and individual responsibility are the skills that once learned, help our graduates lead drug free and productive lives. Family and Friends
Early in Narconon drug rehab program, the client begins to develop a life plan under the supervision of our clinical staff. This plan includes restoring relationships with family and friends while working out future career opportunities.
Family and friends are invited to actively participate in this phase by attending the program themselves.(At no additional cost.) By the time of discharge, the graduate has developed a plan for continued support and expansion.
Narconon Staff
Narconon addiction treatment staff members stay in regular contact with our graduates to ensure that they are using the tools they have learned on the Narconon Drug Rehab program and are once again contributing members of society.
