In Medina County, OH a levy barely squeaked by in the polls yesterday.  Thank goodness it did!  When voters agreed to this levy they agreed to continuing drug education and help law enforcement with their fight against drug abuse.

“On behalf of the Medina County Drug Abuse Commission, I would like to express my appreciation to the voters of Medina County for passing the Anti-Drug levy,” said executive director Brian Nowak. “Passage of the levy is a sign of continued support for drug enforcement, drug prevention and drug treatment services throughout Medina County. We promise to utilize these tax dollars to continue funding and monitoring effective programs that will enhance the health and safety of the entire community.”

Drug addiction treatment sees drug addiction around the country and we need further education on all fronts to help combat this rising problem.
