Opiate Abuse

Opiate Abuse

This is a success story from a Narconon drug treatment student.  It was written today by someone in  the past simply could not control their opiate abuse.  The objective step of the program helps those who have been addicted to heroin, Oxycontin, methamphetamine, cocaine and other drugs come into present time and gain control of their live. Drug Abuse takes over your mind, body and soul.

Today I had no ideas at first what this step of the program was going to do.   But then as we were going along, it just hit me.   And it was very simple.  These exercises are teaching me how to control myself.   I know that when I get home and I travel down a street where I used to buy pills, I will remember how good my life is now, like it is.  I intend to hold onto this feeling and never let it go away.

When I go to my doctor and he tries to convince me how much better I am going to feel with his pills I will remember how miserable he made me feel in the past.  I will never let this “professional knowledge” jeopardize my sobriety again.”
