Prescription Abuse

Prescription Abuse

Someone you know is probably addicted to prescription medication.  Prescription drug abuse represent the most widely abused drugs in America today.  The abuse surpasses even marijuana.  One in five teens abuse prescription medications to get high.  Often times the drugs are taken from the family medicine cabinet and given out to friends at “pharm” parties.  They can usually also be purchased from school.

Recent studies show that the number of drug addicts needing but not receiving addiction treatment is skyrocketing. One of the most intriguing parts of the program is the New Life Detoxification course.  Drug residues and other toxic substances remain locked in fatty tissues of the body.  These toxins can be released into the bloodstream years after the person has stopped taking drugs and can cause craving for more drugs.  An exact regimen of exercise, sauna and nutritional supplements rid the fatty tissues in the body of drug residues.  This part of the drug rehab program truly addresses the cause of the craving and helps eliminate them.
